#704C - Reliability for Non-Reliability Personnel

Course Objective

Upon completion of this course, participants will have an overall understanding of process plant reliability management, and recognize the practical use of Reliability Engineering (RE) as it pertains to process plant equipment maintenance.

Who Should Attend

Project & Process Engineers, Operations Supervisors, Reliability personnel (rotating and fixed equipment engineers and inspectors) who require an overall understanding of process plant equipment reliability considerations.

Course Outline

The course is divided into two main sections followed by a half-day brainstorming session.  Where specific examples are discussed, they will generally be related to rotating equipment.  The following outlines the primary topics discussed:

Section 1 - Effective Reliability Management

Section 2 - Applying Reliability Engineering Principles to Process Plant Equipment Maintenance
