#504 - Onshore Crane/Lifting Safety Management Workshop

Course Objective

Upon completion of this course, attendees will have an understanding of the basic elements and key work processes of the safety management system. Students will also learn of the hazards in using cranes, especially crane assembly, crane set-up, operating procedures, and good rigging practices.

Who Should Attend?

The course material will be of interest to site managers, maintenance and construction managers, foremen, crane operators, rigging supervisors, site supervisors, project engineers, and field engineers. In general, those people involved with maintenance and/or construction related crane activities will find the course helpful and beneficial.

Course Description

Course Duration - Two days.

A third day is available if there are crane operations underway on-site or nearby. The first two days are in the classroom, and the third day is field oriented with instruction on how to conduct a field audit of crane operations.
